Help with Visual Styles for Windows XP?

I recently downloaded and installed the patcher and yesterday settled on a theme. It appeared in my drop-down list under properties>appearance>windows and buttons (from the desktop). I was able to choose it and have it work yesterday, I restarted my computer fine and all but when I came back to change my background today the theme dissapeared and went to windows classic theme. Anyone know what went wrong and what I can do to fix it? Thanks.

Just out of curiosity have you looked for someone who can help you develop as a family. A friend or friend's parents that you could live with? You can insure that your babies be adopted together however that doesn't sound like what you want. I am a mom to an adopted little boy and he is my pride and joy. But you have to live with this for the rest of your life. And at 16 it will be hard to provide, but not impossible. You need some encouragement and maybe even a mentor to help you get through this. Which ever decision you make will be what you have to live with and unless we were in your exact position, we don't know how we would respond. But you have a tough road ahead of you.
