Confidence Tips For Talking To My Ex?

So this guy & I were on again, off again for 3 years. I broke up with him because I knew we had a chance of really making it last time (i'm TERRIFIED of committment!) but I love him more than anything, & I'm willing to put that fear aside to be with him. The only issue I have is getting the nerve to go talk to him. Any quotes of confidence, ways to boost my confidence & pump me up? I need help!!!!
