No its true. Treat others like you wanna be treated. But there is no guarrantee with that. Since this is a pattern for you maybe you should get to the root of your problem. Something your putting into the relationship is not working. Perhaps expecting some else to fullfill something impossible to fill inside of you. Impossible because you are beyond empty. Til you learn to love yourself you can't and won't get someone else to do it...or if they do you won't recognize it.
