Should we wait for it?

If those two people feel that they have to break up instead of staying together until they're ready to make the life long committment, then they probably aren't truly meant to be together. I think that if their love is strong enough, they could probably get back together at some point in the future, if they haven't found someone else that they love even more, which is always a possibility. Ultimately, it's up to those two people to talk it out, find out what they want, and make a decision.
