I recently downloaded and installed the patcher and yesterday settled on a theme. It appeared in my drop-down list under properties>appearance>windows and buttons (from the desktop). I was able to choose it and have it work yesterday, I restarted my computer fine and all but when I came back to change my background today the theme dissapeared and went to windows classic theme. I have had a burning tongue, and mouth bumps under my tongue, along my gums, and feels like in my throat as well for almost 2 weeks. Also, my mouth has a weird taste, kind of like chicken broth or something as weird as that sounds when I wake up in the morning. I recently had oral given and received (about 3 weeks ago) with a new partner and now I'm terrified I have something. I've also had headaches, a vaginal yeast infection (which i've treated already) and still some general discomfort down there, but as far as I can tell no sores or blisters in the genital area SO FAR. I feel like the timing is too much of a coincidence for it to be something else other than an STD, but i'm just praying its nothing incurable like herpes or anything. I also feel I should note that as far as I can tell he did not have any open lesions or sores anywhere on his lips or genitals, and he says he is clean but idk bc I found out afterwards he has had several partners. completely bombed an oral presentation? I did when I was a sophomore in college. I had to give a speech in front of the class about a public figure of my choosing. I did Mother Theresa. It was supposed to be 3-5 mins long. Mine was about 1 minute. :-( It was awful. I mean, what I said was okay...but it was just ridiculously short and the visual aid was just a poster, which was nice as far as posters go, but no one else made a poster as a visual aid, they had like video clips and such. Help with my 11 year old daughter?

My daughter is almost 11, just finishing 5th grade. I just dont know what to do with her. She acts like I am so embarrassing to her, she isnt very nice to me, she uses an annoyed tone of voice with me and rolls her eyes over the simplest things, she leaves empty wrappers all over the place, she loses valuable things, like her iPod touch she lost 3 times in one day. As a result, I took it away from her for several days. She does very well in school, she has a great group of friends and she is involved in sports. And she wasnt always like this, just in the last year or so. What to do when a teenager is being pulled down by his girlfriend?

My son is almost 18 and has been friends with a girl for about a year and a half. She is a cute little thing, but comes with a lot of baggage and from a broken family. I didn't mind the friendship, but my son is on the phone with her for many, many hours every afternoon and she constantly gives him her personal items so she has an attached excuse to gain access to him. He is a senior in high school this year and I'm seeing his grades fall, he looks like the worlds saddest person, his talk has become defensive and mumbling. We have pretty strict rules, but is starting to break them. He's already made the committment to go to prom with her, but I'm not comfortable. Eyesight: strange visions?

OK so, ever since I can remember me being a child, I think I can remember as far as age 7 or so. Anyway so every now and then when it is fairly bright outside when I look at something for about 4-5 seconds without blinking this odd, tunnel like vision starts appearing. It looks like these dark blobs, kinda tightly packed together start moving toward whatever it is I am looking at in a cone/tunnel kind of way. Now this vision takes about 20% of my visual range so it doesn't really get in the way or anything. It moves faster and faster towards the object in sight, until i cant take it anymore and blink or look away cause my eyes get too dry. It is never bothersome, sometimes I even intentionally stare for as long as I can to see maybe if the tunnel moves fast enough I'll get x-ray vision or something. Guess the question is: has anyone ever experienced this, is it common? Is it a sign of some terrible eye malfunction like glaucoma or something? Or do I have some super vision power and can eventually shoot lasers out my eyes ~_~

Personally I'm not sure if there is anything but counseling that will help. I would sit down and discuss all of it with her. If you belong to a church you may be able to get couples counseling through there. When a child is involved I don't believe you can just say it will blow over. This may be hurting your child right now and it will come out in his behavior and although right now he may not show it it will do long term damage to him emotionally. Personally I think it may be prolonged Post pardon depression. Some women behave this way and it means she is unhappy and depressed. It doesn't mean she is a bad person but she needs help. I know money is hard but if something is wrong you need to address it now and not put it off because it will effect you, her, and your son. Counseling is considered mental health and most insurances will pay for it. Also like I stated church's very commonly will provide marriage counseling or have other services like that. Communication is important too. I would be there for her but also let her know that the way she treats your baby will not be tolerated and that she does need to change. She may not realize what she is doing will hurt anything but I assure you it will. It is a form of abuse to spank a child and verbally attack him by calling him names and threatening him. By standing by you are not taking care of him. But it's not the end you just need to address this now. Good luck

oKKKKK People! you tell me why alot of our social circle have difficulty accepting the way my partner and I decide to live our lives! I am a 35yr old female, I have worked since I was 22, since leaving college. My partner, he is 51 and he has worked 30yrs since leaving college. We met 10yrs ago and are co habiting this past 7yrs. We love each other very much but do not place any importance on marriage. Yes I respect peoples wish to get married but why do people not respect ours to not? The way i see it, is marriages break up too aswell as relationships and do not guarantee committment or that the man wont stray. We are both completely financially independant of each other. We are not together coz we 'have' to be, its because we 'want'. We have no debts or mortgages. We did not purchase property during the boom, we are in the long term rental market, a lovely country house where we WANT to live,not just some mundane semi that we can AFFORD. We live in a beautiful area, in a beautiful house. Sure we can be kicked out but then we just go rent another one! At the end of the day, what good is owning property if you cannot sleep at night because of a crippling mortgage. Both of us dont wish to have kids. We love kids but we like them to be someone elses! I see parenthood as a huge responsibilty morally and financially so i've decided not to go there. What i'm trying to say is why do people who have done all those things feel the need to riddle us with questions about our lives? We respect their decisions and dont ask why were they so stupid to have a load of kids and a huge mortgage? I think they are yes, but i never ask them why they done it. Thats their business! Same regarding our current state of unemployment. Its not ideal, we miss the salaries but we are doing fine, getting up late, long country walks, basking in the beautiful sunshine, losing weight and cooking wonderful food. Im even baking and doing art! I feel like i'e come into my own since i've got out of the 9 to 5 trap. Why are people so dissaproving?

My mom has asked me if I think I have depression, which in my point of view I have always lived with it, but I chickened out and said no. My life has been weird when it comes to emotions. Hi Squiz, what you need to do is to think what your relationship with your ex is likely to turn out like. If you go over all the time you two were together, and all the time you weren't together, just what do you come up with. When I read this I think to myself this guy is mentally unstable. Sometimes he will just stare at me and I'll ask him what he's thinking and he'll just smile and say I don't think either of us are ready to handle what I'm thinking. No it is not wrong to lust her, it should be normal. You only live once and if you really like her go for it. But I think you should talk to your best friend about it, see what he has to say. Most people might say that you shouldn't date any of your friends ex's. But it wouldn't hurt to talk to him about it, he is your best friend.

Music instrument help needed, urgent?

I play an instrument. I have private lessons, but I also play in a band, and the band provides my instrument. I would like to carry on practising the instrument, but to do that I need to stay in the band, and to do that, I need to re-audition, meanwhile, I missed the audition because of another committment, and even if they reschedule it, im not sure how well id do, because i have no piece to play, and no exercise sheet, as the music service distributes them, and i have private lessons. My parents have said that buying a new instrument wouldn't be good right now. I don't want to quit. I haven't told my parents anything yet. Please, please help!!!!!!! What should I do?

When should we get married? Am I too young?

I have been with my boyfriend for a year. I am 19 and he is about to be 21. We are very mature for our age and both are in college. I can't wait to marry him and build a life and family together. He speaks the same way, we love each other very much. When I talk about children he wants to wait til at least he has his bacholer degree which i agree with totally. but i want to marry him so badly. i know what i want. i want to take care of him and build a home with him. if he wants a child at least in 3-5 years, we should marry first. am i too young to be thinking this way? i really don't think so. it really is just a symbol of love and total commitment. People make it seem soooo serious and life changing and need sooo much money and time before it. Any of you with aspergers help me with this?

i saw an article on aspergers and it said they are visual thinkers. Then i noticed im a visual thinker if theres anybody with aspergers can you tell me if this is your thought process. Ok if somebody is talkin to me explaining something i visualize what they are saying im not doing it on purpose its automatic. But when i need to take a shower my mind usually gets the urge i need to shower first from the way my body feels then i think about my shower then i hear my internal voice say "i need to shower" all within the same second. I dont have detailed visuals i cant remember exactly what things look like just like the concept i can remember faces really good though. I also read people with aspergers see pictures theyve already seen when i imagine something like say a dog its not a dog ive seen before its just a made up dog in my head with a black background. Is this how people with aspergers think just wondering. I dont think i have aspergers because im ver social, get sarcasm and social cues and make eye contact automatcly without forcing myslef to do it. But anyways i just want to know how people with aspergers thinking process works i know one kid with it but he doesnt like to talk about it so i dont bring it up at all so anybody with it open to talk lol?

I need advise on buying a house?PLEASE HELP!?

My husband parents gave him a old house paid off, lien free. So, I was wondering cause contactors have told me that they would have to strip the house but, it wasnt worth it and its better to remove this old house and build a house. I mean its livable beside the cracks and holes here and there. But I don't want to be dealing with holes and plumbing and electrical. I have asked around to my family. They all tell me its up to me I know it is but, I would really want someone advise. My husband loves the idea having our own house and not paying a mortgage he says leave this house here rent it and we buy a brand new house and we ever need to come back we could always come back mortgage free. I think of it like this could be our starter home build a new house on this property in 5-7 yr rent it for much more and buy a bigger house. I live in south texas in harlingen, texas. How do I get him to move cross country with me?

The first post said that if a man loves you he will move mountains to get to you, etc. That is true to a degree, but there is so much you have not told us. If this guy has a good job or is in school, then of course he would be hesitant to move, I mean you are his GF, not his wife. It also depends on WHY you are moving cross country. If I was dating a woman and she suddenly said she wanted to move and couldn't give me a good reason why, I might have second thoughts about whether I wanted to be with her at all. Help me please! I don't know what to do.?

i was supposed to have a study group with 3 of my friends. one of them is the guy i kinda like. They were supposed to come to my dorm at 12 today. I assumed the guy i liked, calvin, wasn't gonna come because i didnt get a certain answer about whether or not he was gonna come. But i waited with my other friend who came over ,Becky, who came at 11:30 to hang out, until 12:20, and no one showed up. So i called my friend Helena and asked her if she was coming. She said something like "No one's gonna go, so i'm not going." which i thought was odd, because i was talking to my other guy friend Joe the night before and he said he was going. But then, i assumed that they talked this morning and he changed his mind and wasn't gonna come, so i left with Becky. Needless to say, I was fuming. While on the road with Becky, my roommate suddenly called me and told me that Calvin came, so i was in a situation. Becky had to go pick up something and then go to work, so she couldn't take me back to school. And then Joe called me and i told him that Helena said that no one was coming, so i left. He sounded really pissed and was like "ok well i'm going home then. Thanks a lot." My roommate then texted me saying that Calvin went to the library, if i was able to come back soon. I begged Becky to drive me back, and she reluctantly did. When i go back, i immediately went to the library but couldn't find Calvin, so i left. Our final is on Monday, and i'm worried that what happened today will change our friendship. I've cooled off, but i'm worried that they're all mad at me. I know it's my fault. I shouldn't have left with Becky, and i shouldn't have assumed that they weren't coming just because Helena said so. I don't want this to ruin our friendship. What should i do? I've apologized to them too.

Having some profound girl problems D:?

Well it all started several months ago when this girl became touchy with me and somewhat flirtatious. I did not read much into it because I figured it was probably her personality. After knowing her for about a month, she revealed that she had a boyfriend and did so without much care, so I figured she didn't like me whatsoever. Over the past few months we became very close where we would tell each other personal things, and life was still usual. At this time I kind of liked her, but not enough to act on it. Well then two weeks ago she turned to me and told me that she was having problems with her boyfriend and wanted to break up with him, she then told me she was looking for a new boyfriend and looked into my eyes for a bit. I regrettably played it cool and just tried to comfort her over her problems, but did not reveal anything to her. Well after that she started texting me a lot more and we got pretty damn close, she asked me to hang out with her frequently, and at the same time we were touchy and having a fun time. She then backed me into a corner through one of our conversations and asked me if I had a crush on her, I reluctantly said yes, and then she did something I did not expect. She welcomed the idea like no other, she asked me to hang out with her, and go swimming with her (to see her body), to go on vacation with me, but I suppose she did not reveal any interest in me. So I foolishly took this as if she liked me however, because I figured she would have been much less optimistic about me hanging out with her and such, but I guess I was wrong. I was surprised to find that she was still dating her boyfriend, and then told me that even two weeks ago she was not really willing to break up with him, and that to this day she still is not. She still seems to be discontent with her boyfriend, because he does not want to hang out with her and such.So this is my situation and I am bewildered, I guess I was just wondering if anyone had advice on coping with this issue.
